Hello and welcome to my website.
My name as you have probably guessed from the web address and the logo in the top left hand corner is Peter Meenagh and I am an Interactive Designer from Northern Ireland and I am available for freelance work.
I specialise in designing and building web standard sites with CSS (Cascading Stylesheets) and XHTML (Extensible HyperText Markup Language), this means that each site I make is accessible to as wide an audience as possible, if a site is build with web standards it is also more likely to have a better Google ranking.
I also do a bit of branding, designing and building of emails also.
Over the past couple of years I have developed my JavaScript and Flash skills to achieve a better and more advanced way of website and user interaction. I am continually developing my skills and also using new technologies and methods to achieve up to the minute websites.
Here is a list of some of the different types of work I do.
Designing and creating websites, emails, web banners, Flash presentations. Print design is another type of design which I love doing, I mainly design logos business cards and letterheads.
Ok now a bit about me. I have just finsished a BSc Hons degree course in Interactive Multimedia Design at the University of Ulster Jordanstown where I achieved a first class honours degree. I have strived to create websites which are aesthetically pleasing, interactive and also accessible.
Its is my goal with every website to achieve the best possible visual result for the client, whilst also making it accessible to a wider audience. I take the same stance with the emails that I create and build. The emails which I build will work across most if not all email browsers and be a quality design which will fit the clients' needs.
